Netflix has announced the first five titles to be included in their new Netflix Games platform, along with a launch date for Android mobile devices.

Announcing the news on social media, it was confirmed that the following five games would be available on launch day – Stranger Things 3, Stranger Things 1984, Shooting Hoops, Card Blast and Teeter Up – which has been confirmed as Wednesday, November 3.

The games will be accessible via the Netflix mobile app after a new update. Currently, the games will only be available on the Android version of the app, but Netflix has assured those with iOS devices that the Netflix Games update is “on the way”. A later tweet from Netflix Geeked also confirmed that the games will have support for Bluetooth controllers as well.

To access the games, players must log in to the Netflix app, access the Netflix Games service on the homepage, and select their game of choice to download through the device’s app store. Once complete, the game will be playable through the Netflix app at no additional cost with no ads or additional purchases required.

Netflix first confirmed plans to add games to the streaming service back in July 2021, after the company hired former EA Mobile executive Mike Verdu to be the Vice President of Game Development.
