In the run up to their fifth album Death of a Bachelor set for release January 15th, Panic! at the Disco have announced some upcoming shows and dropped a third single titled ‘Emperor’s New Clothes’.

Panic! at the Disco’s music is anything but predictable, which keeps them fresh, interesting and leaves you always wanting to listen to more of the band through fear of missing out on something incredible. ‘Emperor’s New Clothes’ completely exceeds their two other most recent singles – ‘Victorious’ and ‘Hallelujah’ – which sounds like something the band could have had difficulty achieving since these tracks are pretty outstanding themselves. But they did it.

The track certainly isn’t lacking in backing vocals, for the “finders keepers, losers weepers” is morphing the song into a recognisable crowd pleaser and it’ll be a disappointment if it doesn’t make upcoming set-lists. With a strong beat, ‘Emperor’s New Clothes’ is catchy but still a nice surprise without destroying Panic!’s legacy. It avoids disappointing fans by miles.
