The critically acclaimed ABBA MANIA will tour as part of the Sounds in the Grounds concerts this summer.
Audiences will be able to relive ABBA’s last ever concert featuring hits including ‘Mamma Mia’, ‘Voulez Vous’, ‘Dancing Queen’, and many more.
The performance stars an array of performers including Eurovision: You Decide 2018 finalist Rhiannon Porter and lead vocalist from the UK Arena Tour of Doctor Who Live JoJo Desmond. Joining them is Edward Handoll (BIG The Musical and Saturday Night Fever), and Loucas Hajiantoni (One Night of Tina).
Previous ABBA MANIA cast members Tamsin Stewart and Duncan Walsh Atkins will be returning in the roles of Director and Choreographer, and Musical Supervisor respectively.
Producer Todd Littlewood comments on the return of ABBA MANIA: “After a fantastic run in the West End, we’re so excited to bring the feel good music of ABBA to audiences across the country, for a show stopping sing-along. An evening of electrifying song and dance is the perfect tonic to the past 15 months, and we can’t wait to celebrate with the audience.”
This two-hour production will feature in the Sounds in the Grounds before heading to The Legends Festival. They will then embark on a full UK tour this autumn.
There will also be a 55-date US tour and a 25-date arena tour in France throughout 2021 and 2022.
Tickets for the Sounds in the Grounds festival can be purchased online.
