The second taster from Jaws’ new heavier style, ‘What We Haven’t Got Yet’ provides plenty of reason to believe that their second album will not disappoint fans. The Birmingham group recently became a three-piece, as it was announced that bassist Jake Cooper would be leaving the band for personal reasons. Having just announced a new string of 21 tour dates across the UK for November and December, Jaws have certainly got their fan base chomping at the bit for new material.
While Jaws have never been lacking in energy, their new single does have a racing pulse running through it that feels fresh. This new life that they’ve roared into material for their upcoming second album is created by choppy guitars and lead singer Connor Schofield’s vibrant vocals. ‘What We Haven’t Got Yet’ is a song that will undoubtedly become a favourite to hear live, what with it’s shout-along chorus and rapid tempo, but fans will just have to wait to find out.
Tickets for the band’s tour go on sale Friday 25th September. For full list of tour dates click here
