Manic Street Preachers

Manic Street preachers 2

Closing the Common Stage on the festivals first night, Manic Street Preachers are guaranteed to bring a huge live show with them. Having toured the bands seminal albums ‘The Holy Bible’, in 2015, and ‘Everything Must Go’ earlier in the year the band are revitalised and playing some of their best live shows in a decade. The energy from their legendary 90’s shows hasn’t been lost though with the band throwing themselves about like its 1994. James Dean Bradfield is a genius with a guitar being able to play lead and rhythm guitar at the same time while his vocals bring another dimension to the Welsh band.

A hugely outspoken band that have had huge ups and downs in their career and its probably a minor miracle that they are still together but its a near certainty that Manics will blow the crowd away on the first night of this years Victorious Festival.
