5) The Music
So yes, we go to festivals to socialise, drink with mates, have a little holiday in a tent. But the music is at the root of festivals. Therefore the last step to creating a real authentic festival vibe is to crank that music up and if your neighbour wants you to turn it down then, turn it up even louder because excuse you’re having a festival over here. It’s loud, it’s bolshy and you can feel the bass echo in your ears and the kick drum in your heart. Have somebody get out a guitar and sing around a campfire, it doesn’t even matter if you can sing or not.
So there you have it. 5 simple steps to help you bring the festival to you. Or you could do what I’m actually doing, which is moping on my bed, checking my friends snapchats, watching ‘Tonight I’m Yours’ and pretending I’m Morello.
