Pure Blue // Splashh
Dreamy, whirling electronica has taken over the garage-pop of old, Splashh are back and fresher than ever. Following 2013 album Comfort the band headed for New York for new pastures and are now back with a new synth infused sound that just keeps on kicking. Clear as day synths and funky basslines are a huge upgrade from old and go hand in hand with their new, increasingly laid-back vibe on latest release ‘Pure Blue.’
However there’s remains from the Splashh of old too and for that we’re equally as thankful. Their fuzzy distortion and dozy shoe-gaze instincts shine through in the end, making for a lush blend of autumn’s the new summer goodness.
