LA native, Pearl Charles is a quirky styled songstress who mixes new age stoner psychedelia and knock-out mid-60s blues in her hazy Jefferson Airplane-like vault of aesthetics. Her latest ‘Minds A Mystery’ fuses West-coast acid-rock and sharp organs to great effect as she swoons along, effortlessly cool.
Charles is coming off the back of her stunning debut EP on Burger Records and is going from strength to strength, boasting support slots with the likes of Father John Misty. It’s easy to see why with jaunty progressions, lyrical conundrums and a voice that has you in a daze for hours.
