Concrete Slums // Parisa Louvel
Parisa Louvel’s debut release ‘Concrete Slums’ is a pummelling indie-rock number, full of energy and unforgiving attitude. Kicking and screaming into gear with a ferociously raw combo of pulsating guitar riffs, throbbing bass and crashing drums each sitting underneath her lightning quick spoken-word cries and chorus kicks.
A parting shot of sweat-ridden assurance is fired before an instrumental meltdown led by an increasingly powerful vocal display and heavier guitars. It’ll be interesting to see what comes next from an artist and style that promises so much from a small three-minute teaser.
Parisa Louvel’s debut release ‘Concrete Slums’ is available now.
