Running Circles // Indigo Moon
Liverpool’s majestic psych-rockers Indigo Moon are back with silky new track ‘Running Circles’. Joyously innovative and forever captivating with their unorthodox song styles and often off-kilter jaunts, the quintet’s newbie doesn’t disappoint. Ashley Colley’s smooth and assured vocal, ranging from dominant highs and dramatic lows sits pleasantly alongside funky basslines and shoegaze tinged guitar flickers to great effect.
Nailing them down to any specific style is disrespectful, the often ambiguous nature of their instrumental jerks keeps you on your toes in ways that only their sound can. Luscious groover ‘Running Circles’ brings things down a notch from the punchier, guitar-led sound of previous EP snippet ‘Uncertain’ and is another bow to Indigo Moon’s creative variety.
‘Running Circles’ is available now and features on Indigo Moon’s upcoming self-titled EP, previewed by us here.
