LA-based sister duo Chelsea and Justine Brown, aka Summer Twins have a new release out with fuzz-fiends Burger Records. Ear-catching, quirky-paced number ‘Demons’ takes centre-stage on their 2nd album, and for good reason. Shooting, jaunty guitar scuzz flicks and kicks in all directions alongside buzzing organ oozed 60s rock and 70s pop rhythms.
Extending across all eras, the duo team their 60s/70s indie-pop scuzz with distinctive 50s inspired harmonies harking back to female groups of yester-year. It’s quirky and above all else a right bundle of fun. Who said summer was over?
