Uniquely Oriellistic, garage made surf-pop is back. Bo-jangles. Listening to the new track from The Orielles ‘Joey Says We Got It’ you’d be forgiven for thinking it was mid July, when in fact the sun’s down by late afternoon. Reverb drenched youthful exuberance, full of kicks and licks they’re great fun and full of positivity – if you don’t like them then you’re probably boring as fuck.
The Orielles jump back into live action for any Northern animals this autumn. The band are playing KYC Management’s Liverpool underground showcase at The Kazimier this Wednesday alongside the debut of Pink Kink. There’s also dates in Manchester and Cardiff to get stuck into before they headline Liverpool’s Shipping Forecast on December 4th.
