3. The Sundowners
Liverpudlian psych-folk drifters The Sundowners grace the world with harmonious indie-pop gems, the mesmerizing lead vocals of Niamh Rowe and Fiona Skelly making for a wonderfully hypnotic and delightful sound. The five-piece, born out of Rowe and Skelly’s long-term friendship, have played alongside the likes of Kasabian as well as the BBC Introducing Stage at Glastonbury, their First Aid Kit mixed with Velvet Underground-inspired vibe impressing the UK across the past twelve months. Their debut album, Sundowners, was released earlier this February to widespread praise, truly a harmonious treat for the sonically inclined.
