The good news: there’s an acoustic version of this song available, which is equally as good as the original. The bad news: this song will make you cry. Trust me. I speak from experience. It all got a bit too much one night at about 2am and I burst into tears whilst listening to the song as a result of the boy I liked not liking me back. Tragic, I know, but hopefully that little anecdote will make you feel better about your own break up – at least you got to the point of dating the person you liked. Unrequited love sucks. The chosen lyrics are also a good kick up the arse to motivate you to actually get out of bed and to stop thinking about that person that most definitely isn’t thinking about you.
