5: Slipknot
Since the release of their fifth album . 5: The Gray Chapter in October after six years away, there has been a newfound energy to Slipknot – both in their music and their live performances. This was demonstrated during a brilliant headlining performance on the Friday night. Despite the rain threatening to ruin the day, the show was mind-blowing and the tracks off the new album gained a new lease of life. In addition to a captivating light show, Slipknot rounded off the first night with their classic Zero Bullshit test, in which vocalist Corey Taylor instructed the crowd to get down on the ground and then jump up. This was a great warm up to the weekend headliners.
