Now, you already know you’d be a fool to miss bands like While She Sleeps, Basement, Neck Deep, Augustines and Mallory Knox but you may need to beef up your weekend itinerary with some new music. While walking aimlessly from stage to stage sounds like fun, here is a friendly heads up on those acts you may not know yet, but you’d be a fool to miss.

It’s been a whirlwind year for the post hardcore four piece Black Peaks. With their ferocious and intense debut album ‘Statues’ receiving universal acclaim, the progressive sound of Black Peaks is another success story for the underground Brighton rock scene. Having worked their way up from the dusty basements over the last few years, Black Peaks will arrive at 2000trees having recently opened for Deftones at Wembley Arena. Is that not testament enough to see them?

Well if you need more then you can be assured of one of the most relentless and in your face performances of the weekend with anthems like ‘Glass Built Castles’ and ‘Saviour’ sure to be highlights.

And, to seal it, frontman Will Gardner has one of the best moustaches in music. Go see it!

Find Black Peaks at The Cave on Thursday.
